About One With Life
Lisa Elovich founded One With Life Tequila to celebrate a purposeful life. By starting this tequila company, Lisa combined a few of her biggest life passions that she lovingly calls Sweet Science.
Every single One With Life expression is hand-made from the estate-grown agave blue agave. All the plants are grown the ol’ au naturel way - without any GMO, synthetic, artificially enhanced ingredients for at least 7 years. The cores are then traditionally roasted over 2 days. The fermentation happens in open-air stainless steel tanks, and after that, the liquid is distilled twice. Leaving the tasty juice, all without additives, sulfites, sweeteners, or glycerin. Organic and sustainable!
Although tequila has developed a bad reputation, there's more to the spirit than just shots on a Saturday night.
This traditional Mexican drink origins in the state of Jalisco when according to a local legend, lightning struck an agave cactus before the Nahua tribe drank its warm nectar. Behold, tequila.
Legally, tequila has to be made of 51% of Blue agave around the Jalisco region in Mexico. There are different types of tequila according to age - from the youngest representatives, blanco, reposado, and añejo, to the oldest extra añejo.
