This unique expression starts the same way as Maestro Dobel Silver Tequila ― it is double-distilled in copper pot stills from choice blue Weber agaves. After a brief period of maceration, the tequila is distilled a third time with the addition of turkey breast (pechuga), making it the first commercially available tequila produced this way.

About Maestro Dobel Pavito Silver Tequila

Maestro Dobel Pavito Tequila is a limited-edition expression that is crafted under the watchful eye of Maestro Dobel founder and 11th-generation tequilero Juan Dobel in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. It starts the same way as their Silver tequila that's double-distilled in copper pot stills from 100% blue Weber agaves. After macerating fruit and spices, the tequila is distilled a third time with turkey breast (pechuga) placed atop the still. This way, the vapors get an infusion of spice, fruit, and savory aromas and tastes, making for an intense, complex, and rich expression. It marks the first time that Maestro Dobel has employed this technique as well as the first time the process has been used for a commercially available tequila: "Taking inspiration from and adapting ancestral methods by using the aromatic process of infusing the savory notes from a turkey breast in tequila, is not only a first for us but also for the category," says Maestro Tequilero Alex Coronado.

About Maestro Dobel

The Maestro Dobel brand of Tequila may be a newcomer, having been established in 2008, but that doesn’t mean it is to be underestimated. The brains behind this fine spirit is none other than Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, the 11th-generation heir of the legendary Jose Cuervo dynasty. The secret to their exquisite taste lies in their single-estate agave grown in the volcanic lowlands of Jalisco, harvested during the dry months for the ultimate concentration of sweet, sugary goodness. From the traditional masonry ovens to the yeast crafted in the quality control lab, every step of the Maestro Dobel process gets crafted with care and precision. And the aging process? It gets overseen by the Maestros Tequileros, who create each batch by mingling different vintages for a consistently unique flavor. And let's not forget the bottle — the design is the perfect showcase for this epitome of traditional Tequila making.
