About Maestro Dobel Humito Smoked Silver Tequila

Founded by 11th-generation tequilero Juan Dobel in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico, Maestro Dobel crafts modern tequila, pushing the boundaries of the famous spirit, while building on its rich tradition. The spirit of innovation was reflected in Maestro Dobel Diamante ― the first cristalino tequila to come to the global market. Their Humito is another first, a smoked tequila. It's based on their Silver expression that's double-distilled in copper pot stills from 100% blue Weber agaves. Mesquite wood is used to add smoky aromas and flavors to the Humito, making for a unique spirit that bridges the gap between tequila and mezcal. Bottled at 80 proof, the Humito is a deliciously smooth sipper with a balance of agave and smoky notes that works great in cocktails as well. Look for notes of fruit, agave, caramel, maple, honey, mesquite, toasted nuts, and vanilla.

About Maestro Dobel

The Maestro Dobel brand of Tequila may be a newcomer, having been established in 2008, but that doesn’t mean it is to be underestimated. The brains behind this fine spirit is none other than Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, the 11th-generation heir of the legendary Jose Cuervo dynasty. The secret to their exquisite taste lies in their single-estate agave grown in the volcanic lowlands of Jalisco, harvested during the dry months for the ultimate concentration of sweet, sugary goodness. From the traditional masonry ovens to the yeast crafted in the quality control lab, every step of the Maestro Dobel process gets crafted with care and precision. And the aging process? It gets overseen by the Maestros Tequileros, who create each batch by mingling different vintages for a consistently unique flavor. And let's not forget the bottle — the design is the perfect showcase for this epitome of traditional Tequila making.
