When the Ripy Brothers opened a distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky at the end of the American Civil War, they had no idea what a powerhouse it would become. Their actions mark the beginning of what is now known as the Wild Turkey Distilling Co., one of the most beloved and famous whiskey companies in the world. Longbranch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was launched in 2018, finding its place in the growing lineup of bourbons that the distillery produces in Lawrenceburg. Building on the rich history and tradition of the famous brand, the whiskey was crafted by Master Distillers Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie and is made to bridge the gap between Kentucky and Texas whiskey. After spending 8 years in American oak, the small-batch whiskey is filtered through mesquite charcoals, making for a unique bourbon that's as complex as it is rich.
