KAH Tequila takes its inspiration from Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday with roots in Mayan and Aztec culture. Instead of mourning and sadness, it celebrates the lives of the departed, seeing death as a natural part of life. KAH (ancient Mayan for "life") channels the spirit of this joyful holiday with its calavera-inspired bottles. KAH Huichol Extra Añejo is crafted by Amber Production Tequila (previously known as Fabrica de Tequilas Finos) in Jalisco, Mexico. The limited-edition spirit is made from 100% blue agaves from both the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco. After distillation, it spent more than a decade in specially-toasted oak casks that were placed in cellars with controlled temperature and humidity. Each numbered bottle is a unique, handcrafted work of art that is made by a native Mexican tribe ― the Huichol from the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range. It takes a skilled craftsman 35 hours to decorate a single bottle.

About KAH Tequila

KAH Tequila (ancient Mayan for "life") honors Mexico and its people, channeling the spirit of this joyful holiday and its famous imagery. The unique packaging is inspired by calaveras ― traditional colorfully-decorated sugar skulls that symbolize death and rebirth.
