About Calvados Drouin

The House of Drouin is situated in Coudray- Rabut France. The story of Drouin Calvados dates all the way back to 1960 when Christian Drouin Senior purchased a farm in Gonneville to turn it into cider-apple orchards to produce calvados. Drouin set out to produce premium-quality spirit, a legacy that has continued to this day.

The third generation of Drouin's is now continuing the historical tradition, leading them to become one of the 100 "sites of excellence in taste" selected by the ministry of culture. In 1995 the European foundation awarded the estate the European Prestige Grand Prix for their production.

Calvados is divided into three areas of production," calvados Pays d’Auge" being the oldest, and highest quality. Calvados Pays d’Auge is double distilled, yielding a mellow, full-bodied spirit.
