About Adictivo Tequila
Tequila Adictivo is founded by Gildardo Partida, who comes from a legacy of tequileros, which have been dedicated for over a century to "The art of making tequila." Their Tequila is produced in El Arenal Jalisco, the gateway to the blue region of tequila. The agave landscape and ancient distilleries are distinctive to this region, forging a distinct identity and a style rooted in tradition.
Although tequila has developed a bad reputation, there's more to the spirit than just shots on a Saturday night.
This traditional Mexican drink origins in the state of Jalisco when according to a local legend, lightning struck an agave cactus before the Nahua tribe drank its warm nectar. Behold, tequila.
Legally, tequila has to be made of 51% of Blue agave around the Jalisco region in Mexico. There are different types of tequila according to age - from the youngest representatives, blanco, reposado, and añejo, to the oldest extra añejo.
The nose is greeted with an inviting aroma of sweet vanilla, complemented by the subtle presence of dried fruit and lightly toasted oak. The palate is coated in flavors of oak, vanilla, and light floral notes. The finish is sweet and long-lasting.
