About Ukrainian Heritage Vodka
Produced by the Khortytsa Distillery in Ukraine, Ukrainian Heritage Vodka is about as true to the American standards of identity as can be: a neutral spirit so distilled or so treated after distillation with charcoal or other materials as to be without distinctive character aroma taste or color. Heritage Vodka has done its homework, it's as clean and clear as a tear.
This is achieved with every step of the process: the choice of grain, the type of water, the method of distillation. Everything works for purity. Rye is the grain of choice, and the water is purified by a system of silver, platinum, and shungite filters. Needless to say, this is THE vodka to mix into your cocktail. It'll hold its own without overpowering the rest of the ingredients.
Historians are not clear on the exact origin of vodka since different sources link its beginning to both Russia and Poland. But one thing is clear: this somewhat simple spirit, first used as a medicinal concoction, has become one of the most versatile drinks in the world.
It can be distilled from any type of grains, potatoes, or even grapes worldwide. Due to its simplicity, this unaged spirit's main flavor factor is the quality of water and the ingredients used in the distillation process.
Primarily used in cocktails, vodka can also stand its ground when enjoyed neat.
