Color and flavor are great. This is the old country Slivovitz and great to drink. The\ clear US made Slivo that is horrible flavor.

Ararat is produced by the Yerevan Brandy Company in Armenia, and wine for producing Armenian brandy is prepared exclusively from special grape varieties grown in the Republic of Armenia. Dark fruit and plum greets the nose. As it opens, subtle vanilla and nut appears. A most inviting nose, and the fruit is just lovely!! It is medium-full bodied in the mouth, and the palate starts fruity sweet, and really coats the mouth, but finishes long and dry with more spice than I was expecting, in a lengthy and lingering finish!!

I am happy to find out Armenian brandy for such a great price. I remember its excellent taste as I drank it 50-60 years ago in Yerevan and Moscow/ It is going throw softly and tenderly even better then many expensive French drinks/

This Brandy is the best I've ever tasted. Better than the more popularly known brands and the 5 year is best in my opinion. Simple straight up and just a pleasure. For the price, quality, and craftsmanship you cannot beat it. I just hope CASKERS continues to stock it.

As the tagline implies, this is an excellent brandy for those of us with a preference for good whisky/whiskey. Whether sipped neat, mixed or even used in cooking, it brings a unique combination of cognac richness/elegance with the oakiness/caramel notes of bourbon. I have had this before but it is no longer carried in NH stores. Caskers came through with product, pricing and delivery - pleasure to deal with them.
