About Madre Desert Water Grapefruit & Yerba Santa 4-Pack

A mix of mezcal and sparkling water, Madre Desert Water is inspired by a tradition enjoyed by ranchers and rancheros next to the Rio Grande who would enjoy mezcal with sparkling water. A collection of four different flavors, you can choose from Mushroom, Sage & Honey; Grapefruit & Yerba Santa; Prickly Pear & Lemon; and Original.

Madre Desert Water Grapefruit & Yerba Santa is an homage to border towns and merging of cultures, marrying Texan grapefruit with the wild Yerba Santa from northern Mexico. Infused with adaptogens, herbs, and fruit, this is a blend of citrus and herbal aromas that lead you to a bright and flavorful palate. Low-calorie and sugar-free, it's bottled at a pleasant 10 proof.

Madre Mezcal is created at the Palenque Familia Blas, nestled in the rolling hills of the Oaxaca. Hand-made by mezcaleros in open air palanques, local water and natural yeast from the air are used in the production. Their high quality, small-batch artisanal mezcal tastes like the earth it comes from.

Madre Mezcal is distilled from agave Espadin and agave Cuishe using a family heirloom copper pot still. These agaves are roasted in an earthen pit, before being fermented with local well-water and wild mountain yeast. Madre Desert Grapefruit & Yerba Santa offers a blend of the iconic Texas grapefruit and wild Yerba Santa from Meixoc. It greets with citrus and herbal aromas that lead you to a bright and flavorful palate, packed with notes of grapefruit and yerba santa.
