About Sauza 901 Añejo Tequila

The story begins in 2009 when Justin Timberlake made a splash with 901 Tequila. Its success was huge and it wasn't long before the brand was purchased by Sauza Tequila Company that relaunched the product under a different name. Made from 100% agave at Sauza's own distillery, Justin Timberlake is still involved with the production of Sauza 901 Añejo Tequila. Triple distilled and bottled at a pleasant 80 proof, this añejo tequila is made with traditional methods. Greeting with floral notes on the nose, the mouthfeel is silky and wonderfully balances flavors of vanilla, banana, wood, and cayene pepper. With agave in the background, the finish is long-lasting and smooth.

Launched in 2009 by Justin Timberlake, the 901 Tequila brand was an instant success. So much so that the famous Sauza Tequila Company purchased the brand in 2014. Founded in 1873, Sauza boasts more than a century of experience in tequila-making and offers brands such as Sauza, Hornitos, and Tres Generaciones. Today, the production of 901 Sauza Tequila takes place at Sauza distillery.
