About Maestro Dobel Añejo Tequila

Maestro Dobel Añejo tequila holds a smooth and complex personality, teamed with an exceptional palate, thanks to the high-quality agaves used in the process. The unique aspect of Maestro Dobel Añejo lies in its harmonious fusion of vintages derived from various stages of the aging procedure, a distinction that’s exclusive to the brand. This Añejo is a rich coppery-golden beauty, showcasing a symphony of nuttiness, vanilla, and a hint of fruitiness and agave sweetness. After 18 months of slumber in hand-selected white oak barrels toasted to perfection (for that extra measure of flavor), it gets bottled at 80 proof. It plays out in a long, satisfying finish, so we suggest you savor the moment and sip it slowly — either neat or on the rocks.

About Maestro Dobel

The Maestro Dobel brand of Tequila may be a newcomer, having been established in 2008, but that doesn’t mean it is to be underestimated. The brains behind this fine spirit is none other than Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, the 11th-generation heir of the legendary Jose Cuervo dynasty. The secret to their exquisite taste lies in their single-estate agave grown in the volcanic lowlands of Jalisco, harvested during the dry months for the ultimate concentration of sweet, sugary goodness. From the traditional masonry ovens to the yeast crafted in the quality control lab, every step of the Maestro Dobel process gets crafted with care and precision. And the aging process? It gets overseen by the Maestros Tequileros, who create each batch by mingling different vintages for a consistently unique flavor. And let's not forget the bottle — the design is the perfect showcase for this epitome of traditional Tequila making.

About Tequila

Although tequila has developed a bad reputation, there's more to the spirit than just shots on a Saturday night.

This traditional Mexican drink origins in the state of Jalisco when according to a local legend, lightning struck an agave cactus before the Nahua tribe drank its warm nectar. Behold, tequila.

Legally, tequila has to be made of 51% of Blue agave around the Jalisco region in Mexico. There are different types of tequila according to age - from the youngest representatives, blanco, reposado, and añejo, to the oldest extra añejo.
