About Los Azulejos Día de Muertos Añejo Tequila
Crafted with 100% blue Weber agave from Jalisco, Mexico, the ripe agaves are harvested once fully matured, which takes between 7 and 10 years. They are then cooked in stone ovens and crushed using a roller mill. After being fermented in stainless steel tanks, the juice is distilled twice using a copper pot still. Los Azulejos Día de Muertos Añejo tequila is aged for 2 years in French oak casks that used to hold cognac, before being bottled at 80 proof. Each bottle is painted by hand on both sides and features a clay Talavera skull-shaped stopper.
