About Los Arango Tequila Reposado

Los Arango Tequila is made from 100% hand-picked blue weber agave and not blended with sugar cane like some other tequilas. The ancient agave plants for Los Arango tequila are harvested after growing for 8 to 12 years. The piñas are slow cooked in adobe ovens for 38 hours, and after a 12-hour rest, the juices are fermented using a proprietary specialty strain of yeast, and then double distilled in small batches in a Charentais copper still.

Los Arango Tequila Reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and aged 6 months in American oak barrels. This expression demonstrates how the flavors of oak aging can enhance the sweet agave notes. Each small batch of this artisanal spirit is bottled in glass blown at the hacienda. The handmade bottles have leather and wooden details, celebrating the brand’s authentic Mexican heritage and reflecting the uniqueness of the tequila’s origin.

About Los Arango Tequila

Los Arango is an ultra-premium tequila inspired by the Mexican Revolution and named after the legendary general Francisco Pancho Villa, who was born as José Doroteo Arango Arámbula. According to a legend, the tequila was first crafted as a gift for Villa himself, who loved the delicious spirit so much that he told the creators to put his name on the bottle. Honoring his revolutionary spirit and commitment to defending people, this tequila is traditionally handcrafted at the Hacienda Corralejo just outside of Pénjamo, in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. The hacienda, which was originally built in 1700, is surrounded by blue weber agave as far as the eye can see, and makes tequila deeply rooted in history, tradition and the vibrant culture of Mexico. Throughout its existence, Hacienda Corralejo has written its own history, and there is something of Mexico to be enjoyed in each and every corner of the estate.
