Dive into the mesmerizing world of Cenote Ahumado Tequila, where tradition meets innovation in a bottle! Crafted with dedication, this artisan spirit bridges the gap between tequila and mezcal. The 100% hand-picked blue Weber agaves bask in the Mexican sun for over 6 years in the rich soils of Jalisco's lowlands. Once the mature agaves are harvested, they are roasted over a wood fire. Now, picture the purest water drawn from ancient wells near the Jalisco volcano, filtered through coconut fibers and ionized with Mexican silver – it's the secret to Cenote Tequila's incomparable quality! Cenote Ahumado isn't just another Reposado; it's a bold fusion of tequila and mezcal, small-batch and smoked, honoring the age-old methods of the original tequileros. Rested in oak casks for at least 2 months, it dances on your palate with a symphony of mellow hickory smoke, intertwined with the luxurious flavors of caramel, clover honey, roasted pepper, and a sprinkle of baking spices.

About Tequila
Although tequila has developed a bad reputation, there's more to the spirit than just shots on a Saturday night.
This traditional Mexican drink origins in the state of Jalisco when according to a local legend, lightning struck an agave cactus before the Nahua tribe drank its warm nectar. Behold, tequila.
Legally, tequila has to be made of 51% of Blue agave around the Jalisco region in Mexico. There are different types of tequila according to age - from the youngest representatives, blanco, reposado, and añejo, to the oldest extra añejo.
The nose features a balance of smoke, agave, dark fruit, toasted nuts, and smoked ham aromas. Look for hickory smoke, caramel, honey, roasted pepper, baking spices, and citrus on the palate that leads to a long, savory, and smoky finish with a touch of caramel.
