About Baileys Strawberries & Cream Liqueur

Baileys Irish Cream liqueur is the original Irish cream and nothing short of legendary. Originally created by Thomas Edwin Jago in 1974, the drink combined whiskey and dairy cream in one iconic package with a recipe that included some of the finest spirits, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. The recipe endures today under Diageo's ownership and has since served as the base for several different expressions, including Baileys Strawberries & Cream Liqueur. The Original Irish Cream provides a creamy backbone with whiskey and chocolate. Then, it is infused with ripe strawberry flavor and vanilla, making for a creamy, fruity, and rich liqueur that's bottled at 34 proof. It's equally delicious over ice, in cocktails, or with ice cream.

About Baileys

The iconic drink was originally created by Thomas Edwin Jago ― who is also credited for creating Malibu and Johnnie Walker Blue Label ― for W&A Gilbey in 1974. With his team, he concocted the brilliant idea of combining two Irish treasures ― whiskey and dairy cream. After 2 years of experimentation, they finally came up with the recipe that included some of the finest spirits, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. The recipe endures today under Diageo's ownership.
