About Apocalypto Reposado Tequila

Apocalypto Tequila is handcrafted from 100% blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco using traditional, artisanal methods. Apocalypto is produced at Destiladora del Valle de Tequila- which translates: “distillery in the valley of Tequila.”- using stone ovens and old-fashioned molinos. In addition to Apocalypto, they produce Blue Laguna, Don Sergio, Casa Maestri, and a dozen more.

The agave are slowly roasted in stone ovens, yielding aromatic vanilla overtones. Aged over six months in white ex-Bourbon oak barrels this reposed has rich, earthy notes followed by a mellow finish.
